Former Interior Minister and Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed in the case registered in New Town police station.

He was arrested from Rawalpindi on Tuesday after the bail was rejected by the court.

Rawalpindi Police arrested Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed from the court premises.
Sheikh Rasheed was granted bail in 11 cases but his bail was rejected in one case.

Earlier, he had condemned the events of May 9 and revealed that he had always been the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.

And advised former Prime Minister Imran Khan to maintain good relations with the army.
