In Islamabad, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to delay their intra-party elections elections. The party had initially set the election date for Monday, February 5, as per the schedule issued yesterday.
However, PTI Chairman Barrister Gauhar confirmed the postponement, mentioning that the founder of PTI gave instructions to delay the internal-party elections. According to Barrister Gauhar, holding these elections could distract candidates and voters from the upcoming general elections.
It’s worth noting that Ruf Hasan Kochef has been appointed as the Election Commissioner for the intra-party elections by PTI.
