The United States is working closely with Canada regarding the case of Hardeep Singh Nijjar death.

Matthew Miller, a spokesperson from the US State Department, talked about the situation concerning Hardeep Singh Nijjar death in Canada. He mentioned that they are working closely with Canada to look into allegations about the Indian government’s involvement in the shooting of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was a Canadian citizen and a leader in the Khalistan movement.

“We are staying in touch and working together with our Canadian counterparts on this matter,” he said.

Miller made these comments during a regular press briefing in the United States.

Canada on Hardeep Singh Nijjar death

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently pointed fingers at the Indian government, suggesting they were responsible for the fatal shooting of Nijjar.

Nijjar was shot outside a Gurdwara in a parking area in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, on June 18.

During a discussion in the Canadian Parliament, Trudeau mentioned that Canada’s national security officials had reasons to believe that individuals associated with the Indian government were behind the killing of the Canadian citizen. Nijjar also served as the president of Surrey’s Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara.
