General Elections: independent candidates supported by PTI secured victory in 50 National Assembly seats, while PML-N gained 30 seats and PP won 25 seats.

Following the general elections across the country, the outcome is still unfolding, with only a handful of National Assembly constituencies reporting unofficial and inconclusive results so far.

Voting took place from 8 am to 5 pm, with millions of people casting their votes.

Due to the suspension of mobile phone and internet services, candidates and voters encountered challenges during the election process.

The election results are still coming in after the voting across the country.

So far, the unofficial and incomplete results for the National Assembly show that independent candidates backed by PTI have won 50 seats, PML-N has secured 30 seats, and PPP has gained 25 seats.

Here are some highlights from different constituencies:

  • In NA-44 Dera Ismail Khan, independent candidate Ali Amin Khan Gandapur won with 92,612 votes.
  • In NA-3 Swat, PTI-backed independent candidate Saleem Rehman secured victory with 81,411 votes.
  • In NA-13 Bitgram, PTI-backed independent candidate Muhammad Nawaz Khan emerged as the winner with 24,686 votes.
  • In NA-17 Abbottabad 2, independent candidate Ali Khan Jadoon triumphed with 97,177 votes.
  • In NA-30 Peshawar, independent candidate Shandana Gulzar Khan, supported by PTI, won with 78,971 votes.
  • In NA-121 Lahore, PTI-backed independent candidate Waseem Qadir emerged victorious with 78,803 votes.
  • In NA-130 Lahore 14, PML-N’s Muhammad Nawaz Sharif won with 171,024 votes.
  • In NA-119 Lahore 3, PML-N’s Maryam Nawaz secured victory with 83,855 votes.
  • In NA-155 Lodhran 2, Siddique Khan Baloch of PML-N won with 117,671 votes defeating Jahangir Tareen.
  • In NA-55 Rawalpindi, PML-N’s Malik Abrar Ahmed emerged as the winner with 78,542 votes.
  • In NA-58 Chakwal, PML-N’s Major (retd) Tahir Iqbal won with 115,974 votes.
  • In NA-123 Lahore, PML-N’s Shehbaz Sharif secured victory with 63,953 votes.
  • In NA-167 Bahawalpur 4, PML-N’s Muhammad Usman Owaisi won with 78,970 votes.
  • In NA-135 Okara 1, PML-N’s Nadeem Abbas Ribera triumphed with 107,862 votes.

In addition:

  • PPP’s Nafisa Shah won NA 202 Khairpur 1 with 121,756 votes.
  • PPP’s Zulfiqar Bachani secured victory in NA-217 Tando Ullahyar with 115,000 votes.
  • PPP’s Ali Gohar Meher won NA 199 Ghotki 2 with 154,832 votes.

These results reflect the outcome of the recent elections in different constituencies across the country.
