In Lahore, the interim Chief Minister of Punjab has issued a directive to crack down on underage drivers in Punjab. The instructions were conveyed to the Inspector General of Police (IG), Chief Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) of Lahore, and all Regional Police Officers (RPOs), emphasizing the necessity for action against young drivers operating vehicles and motorcycles without a license.

Interim Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi underscored the inherent danger posed by underage drivers, not only to themselves but also to others on the road. Additionally, he urged parents to be vigilant and not permit their minor children to operate cars or motorcycles.

These measures are aimed at promoting road safety and curbing the risks associated with underage driving. The focus is on the collective responsibility of law enforcement and parents in ensuring a safer environment for everyone on the roads.
