The removal of unauthorized Afghan nationals is ongoing.

Prior to the official announcement by the Pakistani government, a substantial number of unauthorized Afghan nationals have been returning to Afghanistan from Pakistan due to the apprehension of potential arrest.

On December 11, 1811 Afghan citizens, comprising 454 men, 412 women, and 945 children, crossed into Afghanistan. According to available data, a total of 169 families in 68 vehicles have been repatriated to Afghanistan.

As of December 11, 2023, the cumulative count of illegal Afghans departing from Pakistan has now reached 424,842.
