Items valued at 96 lakh rupees that a lady brought to Karachi from Dubai were taken away by authorities following the Customs Act.

At Karachi airport, customs authorities have taken a lady’s bags worth 96 lakh rupees due to the Customs Act.

Customs officials shared that at Jinnah International Airport, the customs team prevented the illegal transportation of electronic items.

The lady passenger had flown from Dubai to Karachi using a private airline.

At the International Arrivals section, the Customs Collectorate team halted the lady passenger at the Green Channel.

They inspected her bags while she was present and found 4 valuable iPhones, 2 MacBook laptops, 8 valuable smartwatches, 25 valuable handbags, and precious cosmetics.

According to customs officials, the total worth of these items is 96 lakh rupees. They are taking action against the lady passenger based on the Customs Act.
