Pakistan Becomes a Partner of Chinese lunar base project.

Pakistan has teamed up with China for Chinese lunar base project to create a research station on the mysterious and scientifically intriguing south pole of the moon.

This collaboration was established during a meeting between Pakistan’s caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar and Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the Third Road and Belt Forum (BRF) in Beijing.

The agreement covers various aspects of the Chinese lunar base project, such as engineering and operations. China is working to become a significant player in space exploration by 2030 and has already partnered with Russia, Venezuela, and South Africa in this lunar endeavor.

China has set a goal to land its astronauts on the moon by the end of this decade in Chinese lunar base project. Their plan to establish a base on the moon’s south pole coincides with NASA ambitious Artemis program, which aims to return US astronauts to the lunar surface by December 2025.

India made history by reaching the unexplored south pole of the moon in August, becoming the fourth country to achieve a soft landing there.

Both the United States and India have plans to send astronauts to the moon in the coming years, with the US aiming for 2025 and India targeting 2040. The last human landing on the moon was part of the US Apollo program in 1972.
