The International Cricket Council (ICC) has finally revealed the schedule for the eagerly anticipated ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The tournament will begin on June 1, featuring Canada facing off against the host team USA in a group A match held in Dallas.
In a noteworthy matchup, traditional rivals India and Pakistan are set to compete on June 9 at Eisenhower Park in New York.
Importantly, this major event will be happening in two countries, with the United States and West Indies jointly hosting a total of 55 matches throughout the tournament.
The West Indies venues for the T20 World Cup include Kensington Oval in Barbados, Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad, Providence Stadium in Guyana, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, Darren Sammy Cricket Ground in St Lucia, and Arnos Vale Stadium in St Vincent.
Meanwhile, in the United States, the games will be held at three venues: Eisenhower Park in New York, Lauderhill in Florida, and Grand Prairie in Texas.
The Semi-finals are scheduled for June 26 and 27 in Guyana and Trinidad, respectively. The World Cup final will take place in Barbados on June 29.
