North Korean satellite has been successfully placed into orbit, marking a significant achievement following two previous unsuccessful attempts.

Global media reports indicate that the rocket, named Maligyong One, was launched from the northern province of Fujian, following the designated trajectory and effectively placing the satellite into orbit.

Reports further mention the presence of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, alongside scientists and technicians, who witnessed the mission.

It’s noteworthy that North Korea has plans to launch additional satellites in the near future to enhance its surveillance capabilities. This development comes amidst a record number of weapons tests conducted by North Korea this year.
