The Department of Agriculture has planned or plans to eradicate the dangerous Zunita and Darcelos flies

Because both these species cause severe damage to fruits, whitefly,
Strategies are also being formulated to eradicate pink sande and millibug and other pests
Whereas elimination of these three pests will result in a phenomenal increase in cotton production as well as in the fruit fly year

A new action plan has been set up to prevent the abnormal increase in the chances of fruit damage due to the birth of 13 generations.

The spokesperson of Nizamat Agricultural Information Department said that the fruit fly lays eggs inside the soft fruit by stinging it

which later emerge as butterflies and moths and produce the next generation, at least 10 to 13 generations per year.

He said that two types of it are noteworthy in Pakistan, in which Zunita and Darcelos are found.

He said that a plan has been started to remove the obstacle in the export of the 3 most important fruits of Pakistan, which are loved all over the world.
Due to which the demand for mango, guava and cassava is expected to increase tremendously

While under this plan, 3 fruits mango, tarshawa, guava orchards have been selected
Also, this project will be held in 30 districts of Punjab province, out of which in 15 districts.

Subsidy on fruit fly material methyl eugenal, protein hydrolysate, malathion and plastic trap is also under consideration.
