Sherica D’Armes, who represented Uruguay in the 2015 Miss World competition, has passed away at the age of 26.

As reported by US media, Sherika lost her life on October 13 after a battle with cervical cancer. She had recently finished chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments.

Many people in nearby cities and Uruguay are grieving the sudden loss of Sherika D’Armes, and several actors have expressed their sadness over her passing.

Miss World Contest 2015

Back in 2015, at the Miss World pageant held in China, 26-year-old Sherika didn’t make it to the top 30 finalists, even though she was only 18 years old at the time.

In an earlier interview, she talked about her aspirations to become a model, whether it’s in beauty modeling, advertisements, or walking the runway. She had dreams of pursuing a modeling career.
