India has stopped giving Indian visa to people from Canada for an unknown period because there’s a big argument between the two countries.

This decision was announced on Thursday by BLS International Services Limited, a company that helps with visa applications for the Indian government in Canada.

The problem started after Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, accused the Indian government of being involved in the murder of a Canadian Sikh leader named Hardeep Singh Najjar in June. This accusation has led to both countries accusing each other and taking actions against each other.

A notice from BLS International said, ‘Starting from September 21, 2023, Indian visa services have been stopped until we say otherwise. Please check our website for updates.’

India and Canada’s relationship has gotten worse because of Trudeau’s claims. He told the Canadian Parliament that any involvement by a foreign government in killing a Canadian person in Canada is a violation of our country’s independence.

In response, Canada told an important Indian diplomat in Ottawa to leave the country. India has denied these accusations and called them ridiculous. In return, India told a high-ranking Canadian diplomat in Delhi to leave India within five days.

India has also told its citizens not to go to certain places in Canada because of the increasing tension between the two countries.
