Pakistani-Americans visa refusal has been addressed by the officials in Washington, During a press briefing, US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel addressed concerns about visa issues for Americans of Pakistani origin. Patel emphasized that the US consults with Congress on various matters but did not comment on any specific case.
He strongly refuted reports of visa denials or rejections for Pakistani-Americans, labeling them as baseless. Patel encouraged Americans of Pakistani descent and overseas Pakistanis to visit their homeland, assuring them that the Pakistani embassy provides full consular support, including visa services.
He also mentioned that visas can be obtained through consulates in New York, Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles, with online visa applications processed 24/7.
