SSGC releases gas supply plan for Ramadan.

In Karachi, as Ramadan approaches in less than a week, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has declared a gas supply plan for the holy month, marked by some restrictions.

According to SSGC’s announcement, gas will only be available from 3:00am to 9:00am (Sahar) and 3:00pm to 10:00pm (Iftaar) during Ramadan. Residents of Sindh and Balochistan will have access to gas for only 13 hours a day.

The Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, has instructed electricity distribution companies not to conduct power cuts during Sahar and Iftar times. This decision was made during a meeting chaired by the chief minister to discuss price control during Ramazan. The meeting was attended by Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab, the chief secretary, IG Police, and other senior officials.

During the meeting, Murad Ali Shah emphasized that there should be no power cuts during Sahar and Iftar throughout the province during Ramadan. He directed K-Electric, HESCO, and SEPCO to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during the holy month.
