Celebrities electricity bills are often discussed among the common people and specially now-a-days when the people of Pakistan are facing extra burden in the form of high electricity rates.

In recent days, not only have electricity prices surged in Pakistan, but the cost of food items and petrol has also soared, causing concern among the public. Even showbiz personalities have begun sharing their concerns about their rising electricity bills.

Nadia Khan posted a video on her YouTube channel featuring Nida Yasir, Fiza Ali, Sadia Imam, and herself, where they discussed the staggering celebrities electricity bills they’ve received.

Sadia Imam was the first to share her experience, stating that a few months ago, her household’s electricity bill was a hefty 67,000 rupees. After installing a solar system, her first bill was reduced to 19,000 rupees, and after taxes, it amounted to 26,000 rupees, even with two air conditioners running simultaneously in her home. She also mentioned the rising costs of petrol and household expenses.

Nida Yasir, the morning show host, revealed that her family was away for half of August, yet their electricity bill reached 100,000 rupees. The entire family sleeps in one room and uses only one AC. She considered installing a solar system but noted the escalating costs, which have increased from 8 lakhs to 15 lakhs and now 22 to 25 lakhs.

Regarding petrol prices, Nida mentioned that she sold two vehicles due to the surge in petrol costs. She was shocked to spend 25,000 rupees on a full tank of petrol.

Fiza Ali, the model and actress, expressed her surprise as her electricity bill amounted to 67,000 rupees despite not running the AC. She recommended installing solar sheets or panels in homes to reduce electricity bills.

Nadia Khan, the host, shared her own electricity bill story, revealing that even though she was away from Pakistan for three weeks last month, her bill still reached 75,000 rupees. She expressed concerns that the bill for the current month might skyrocket to 1.5 crore rupees.
