Airports in Lahore, Multan, and Peshawar: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) carried out a nationwide operation against drugs and confiscated a total of 125 kilograms of drugs in 13 operations, leading to the arrest of 18 suspects.
During a raid at Allama Iqbal International Airport, authorities found 109 capsules filled with heroin on a passenger who was planning to travel to Sharjah from Lahore.
Additionally, in another operation, 700 grams of ice drugs were discovered from a passenger heading to Doha from Multan Airport.
Separately, 241 heroin capsules were seized from four passengers traveling from Peshawar to Sharjah.
The ANF spokesperson reported that 46 kilograms of opium, heroin, hashish, and ice were confiscated from two suspects in Gujarat, while two kilograms of opium, 16 kilograms of hashish, and a kilogram of suspicious material were recovered from Dalbandin in the Chagai district of Balochistan province.
In Islamabad, three different operations led to the recovery of 23 kilograms of hashish from suspects, including a woman. Additionally, six suspects were arrested in Hyderabad, Attock, and Jamshoro, and drugs were seized by authorities.
