The government’s choice to keep the prices of fuels the same as before.

The temporary government has made a decision to not change the prices of fuels. As per the notice from the Finance Ministry, the government will keep the prices as they are, with petrol price staying at Rs 283.38 per liter and high-speed diesel at Rs 303.18 per liter.

The notice says that the cost of kerosene is now 3 rupees and 82 paisa less per liter, and light diesel is down by 3 rupees and 40 paisa per liter, making it 189.46 per liter.

It’s important to recall that on October 15, the cost of petrol went down by 40 rupees, and diesel got cheaper by 15 rupees per liter. This made petrol cost Rs 283.80 per liter and high-speed diesel was priced at Rs 303.18 per liter.
