After Afghanistan’s impressive 69-runs win against England in the World Cup, Abdul Razzaq has cautioned Pakistan to prepare for Pakistan vs Afghanistan a tough match with Afghanistan in the upcoming tournament. He believes Pakistan might be a bit afraid of Afghanistan, given their recent performances.

The match Pakistan VS Afghanistan is scheduled for October 23 in Chennai. Razzaq thinks that Afghanistan has shown their strength in the past, even though they lost a couple of games against Pakistan due to Naseem Shah’s performance.

Razzaq believes Afghanistan gained confidence by playing against India and performing well against their strong bowling, which is even better than England’s.

Pakistan will first face Australia on October 20 and then play in Pakistan VS Afghanistan cricket match.

In the previous match, Afghanistan surprised everyone by defeating England by 69 runs, marking their second-ever World Cup win. Their last win in the World Cup was in 2015 against Scotland.

Batting first, Rahmanullah Gurbaz played a brilliant innings, scoring 80 off 57 balls, but he got run out just short of a century. Afghanistan managed to set a competitive total of 284 runs with valuable contributions from Ikram Akhil, Rashid, and Mujeeb.

In response, England could only score 215 runs before getting all out. Harry Brook was the standout performer for England with 66 runs. Rashid and Mujeeb took three wickets each for Afghanistan.

England is facing a tough road with only one win in three matches, and they will play South Africa next. Meanwhile, Afghanistan will take on New Zealand, the top team on the points table, in Chennai on October 18, where their strong spin attack could be advantageous.
