The Lahore Board has just released the Intermediate part 1 result. Out of over 168,000 students who took the test, 97,100 passed, which means a success rate of 57%. Girls did slightly better with a 65% success rate, while boys had a 48% success rate. Most students who passed were in the pre-medical and pre-engineering programs.
In Gujranwala, 138,180 students participated in the exam, and 70,702 of them passed, resulting in a success rate of 51.17%.
The Rawalpindi Board also announced their results, with 27,896 candidates passing out of 63,744 who took the exam. The success rate for both male and female students was 43.66%, and 1,500 students were absent.
In Sargodha, 50,224 students participated, with 30,842 of them passing the exam, resulting in a success rate of 61.41%.
Finally, the Multan Board of Intermediate part 1 result released, where out of 73,635 students, 42,772 passed, making an overall success rate of 58%.
