Trudeau shared on X, ‘Today on the phone, His Highness @MohamedBinZayed and I talked about the situation in Israel. We’re really concerned and talked about the need to keep civilians safe.’ He also mentioned that they discussed India and how important it is to follow and respect the rules and laws.

Last Friday, the leader of Canada, Justin Trudeau, talked to the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak about what’s happening with Canadian diplomats in India, according to a statement from Downing Street.

In the past month, Canada kicked out the head of India’s foreign intelligence agency, RAW, who was in Ottawa. They accused India of being involved in the killing of a Khalistani leader named Hardeep Singh Nijjar in June.

This made the already not-so-good relationship between Ottawa (Canada’s capital) and New Delhi (India’s capital) even worse. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told the opposition members in an emergency meeting that his government has strong proof that Indian agents were connected to the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in June in British Columbia.

Trudeau asked the Indian government very strongly to help solve this matter.
