A final decision has been made about stay of foreigners in Pakistan without permission.

In a meeting called the Apex Committee, an important choice was made as part of the National Action Plan. They decided that everyone from other countries who is staying in Pakistan without permission will have to leave.

Some Afghan refugees who have official registration documents can stay in Pakistan. Also, Afghan citizens who have legal visas can still visit Pakistan.

It’s likely that Pakistan will set a final date for all unauthorized foreigners to leave the country.

People who don’t leave by that date will have to sell all their belongings and go back to their home country. If they don’t, they will be sent back forcibly, and their things in Pakistan will be taken away.

For Afghan citizens to visit Pakistan, they will need a special digitized ID called an “e-Tazkira,” according to the sources.
