Microsoft has unveiled a fresh addition to its Windows Photos app named ‘Generative Erase’. This feature enables users to employ AI for selectively erasing objects from their images.
Now, Microsoft is in line with Google and Samsung, who also offer similar AI-driven photo editing capabilities.
Unlike other platforms, Microsoft’s solution will work with Arm64 devices and will be brought back to Windows 10, besides being available for Windows 11.
Upcoming updates for Windows users will integrate these enhancements, including background removal, currently under trial with Windows Insiders.
However, Announcement doesn’t specify whether AI-edited images will carry any distinct watermarks or additional data.
Tech companies are vying to introduce contemporary and imaginative AI products to attract customers and expand their reach.
