In Islamabad, the Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) reported the discovery of new oil and gas deposits in Sindh.
According to OGDCL, gas has been found in Khairpur district of Sindh.
OGDCL stated that the Khairo Well One was drilled up to 3762 meters deep and is expected to produce 1 crore 43 lakh cubic meters of gas per day, along with 93 barrels of crude oil per day.
This discovery follows OGDCL’s previous findings of significant oil and gas reserves at Daras West Well No. 2 in Sindh’s Tando Ullahyar district.
