There are 115 investigations recorded for a social media campaign against the Chief Justice and state institutions.

There’s been significant progress in investigating the spreading of false information against the Chief Justice and state institutions.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officially launched 115 inquiries against those involved in campaigns against institutions and the judiciary. Notices have been sent to 65 people spreading false information, including 47 connected to media and social media.

It’s important to mention that strict action will be taken against those defaming the judiciary on social media. On January 18, the first meeting of the joint investigation committee on the anti-judiciary campaign took place, where officers from sensitive institutions presented an action plan. Arrests of individuals spreading anti-judiciary content are expected in the next phase.

Remember, the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) against the anti-judiciary campaign was formed on January 16. Its goal is to identify those responsible for the malicious campaign against judges on social media and come up with suggestions to prevent such incidents.
