In the last Test of the three-match series against Australia, Aamir Jamal, a fast bowler in the national team, achieved a special feat. He became the first Pakistani player to score more than 50 runs and take 6 wickets in a single innings against Australia in a Test match.

During the Sydney Test, Aamir Jamal scored an impressive 82 runs in the first innings and also managed to dismiss 6 Australian players. This remarkable performance set him apart.

Before Aamir Jamal, in 1990, Wasim Akram had played innings of 52 and 123 against Australia, taking five wickets in one innings and one in the other.
