Interim Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has provided some relief to the public as the new year begins. The implementation of the increased driving license fee has been postponed until January 9.
Here are the details: The fee hike won’t affect those obtaining their driving license before January 9. People can obtain their license by paying the old fee until this date. Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi virtually inaugurated 36 police stations in the province after their upgrades, and he also officially opened the Gulshan Iqbal police station building.
It’s important to note that the government had planned to raise the learning license fee from 60 rupees to 1000 rupees, starting from January 1. However, the interim chief minister has temporarily halted this change.
