India’s Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the teacher job exam results for 7,355 more people who wanted to become teachers. The exams covered various subjects in the second phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examinations (TRE).
According to the Times of India, the exams were for hiring teachers in the Education Department, Backward and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department, and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department.
A total of 3,449 candidates passed for classes 1 to 5. This includes 1,837 for general subjects, 30 for Bengali, and 1,320 for Urdu. An additional 262 candidates also passed for general subjects under vacancies from the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department. For classes 9 to 10, 3,208 students passed, including 3,115 in maths for the Education Department, along with 62 for Computer Science and 31 for Maths under the Backward and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department.
The BPSC also announced 204 candidates successful for classes 11-12, with 133 for Business Studies and 71 for Arabic. For classes 6-8 under the Backward and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department, 78 candidates passed in maths and science, social science, and language (English and Hindi) each.
