A recent accident in Lahore involving a young driver speeding resulted in injuries to four individuals.

An underage driver collided with a motorbike rickshaw near College Road Township causing an horrific accident in Lahore, resulting in injuries to four individuals. According to Rescue 1122, medical assistance was provided to the injured. Local authorities attributed the accident to the driver’s over-speeding, leading to the overturning of the speeding car.

In another unfortunate incident, six members of the same family lost their lives in a tragic car accident in the Defence Phase 7 area of Lahore on a late Saturday night.

Rafaqat Ali and his family were returning to their Shadab Colony home on Ferozepur Road in two cars after visiting his daughter’s in-laws.

One of the cars collided with the other near Defence Phase 7, critically injuring six family members, including two infants.

Despite being transported to Lahore General Hospital, all the injured succumbed to their injuries during treatment.

The victims were identified as Rukhsana (52), Anabia (3), Huzaifa (four months), Muhammad Hasnain (28), Sajjad (26), and Ayesha (22).

The police arrested the driver responsible for the accident, identified as Afnan Shafqat, charging him with negligence, over-speeding, and rash driving. Legal proceedings have been initiated, and the vehicle involved in the accident was seized.

Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed condolences for the tragic deaths and has requested a detailed report on the incident. He has also directed authorities to take legal action against the negligent driver.
