Barrister Gohar for Chairmanship of PTI.

Senator Ali Zafar has announced that Barrister Gohar will run for the chairmanship of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf in the upcoming intra-party election. In a joint press conference with Barrister Gohar, Senator Ali Zafar highlighted that the Election Commission of Pakistan has officially mandated the intra-party election, converting the oral decision into a written one.

Emphasizing that Chairman PTI, Imran Khan, is not participating in the intra-party elections, Senator Ali Zafar clarified that Imran Khan has given approval for the elections, with Barrister Gauhar being the nominated candidate.

Expressing gratitude to Chairman PT Imran Khan for endorsing his candidacy, Barrister Gohar stated that regardless of the outcome, he will assume responsibility until Khan Sahib’s return. He affirmed the continuity of PTI’s mission and dedication aligned with Khan Sahib’s vision.

Earlier, Latif Khosa, speaking outside Adiala Jail, quoted Imran Khan as categorically stating that there will be no “minus one.”
