Motorways Opened as Visibility Improved.

The Motorways opened the Peshawar to Rashkai section and the Swat Expressway’s Colonel Sher Khan to Ismailia section after visibility improved. These areas were closed late at night due to heavy fog.

According to the statement from the National Highways spokesperson, the closure was a precautionary measure to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of motorway users. Citizens are strongly advised to avoid unnecessary travel during foggy conditions, complete journeys in daylight, and reach their destinations before fog sets in.

Additionally, the spokesperson recommends using fog lights in vehicles, avoiding speeding, and maintaining a reasonable distance from the vehicle ahead.

For the latest information before starting a journey, individuals can contact the Motorway Police helpline at 130 or check the official social media accounts of the National Highways and Motorway Police.
